Renfrew Burgh Band

Renfrew Burgh Band is a proud 2nd Section Scottish brass band, based right here in Renfrew. Established in 1911, we’re one of the few remaining active brass bands in Renfrewshire — carrying forward a long musical tradition with community at its heart.

The band performs regularly at local gala days, church services and civic occasions, including the Remembrance Day Service. Our year also includes concerts, carolling events, fundraising performances and brass band contests across Scotland.

Who it’s for:

Anyone who enjoys playing brass music and being part of a long-standing community group. Players of all backgrounds are welcome.

What we do:

Play a wide range of music, perform at community and civic events, and represent Renfrew at performances and contests across the country.

Where:

McMaster Centre, Renfrew

When:

• Tuesday & Thursday evenings

• 7:30pm – 9:30pm
