Renfrew’s Best Garden Contest 2026 is now open

Renfrew Community Council is delighted to launch Renfrew’s Best Garden Contest 2026.

We want to celebrate the residents who help make Renfrew brighter, greener and more welcoming through the care they put into their gardens and growing spaces.

The winner will receive a £200 cash prize.

Who can enter?

The contest is open to any household or resident in the Renfrew Community Council area.

All types of gardens and growing spaces count, including:

Front gardens, back gardens, shared gardens, balconies, patios, yards, planters and window boxes.

You do not need a large garden to take part.

Entry dates

Entries close on 5 July 2026.

How to enter

To enter, please upload 2 photos of your garden or growing space using the form: https://renfrewcommunityco.wixforms.com/f/7448749109806106305

There is one entry per household. You can enter your own garden, or ask a friend, neighbour or family member to enter on your behalf.

Need help entering?

If you cannot upload photos, cannot take photos yourself and do not have anyone who can help, you can contact Renfrew Community Council to request an assisted entry by booking.

Assisted entries are booking-only and will be carried out by two RCC volunteers. Volunteers will only take photos from external access and will not enter homes.

What happens next?

After the closing date, a judging panel will shortlist four finalists. The final winner will then be chosen by a vote of the full Renfrew Community Council membership.
